Don't miss out on this February's weekend campout as we mix a bit of culture with camping. Scouts will have the opportunity to experience a bit of Fort Worth's unique western heritage as we explore the Stockyard district and its unique history. Follow up with an afternoon of historically significant art and architecture at the Kimball Art Museum whose permanent collection contains masterworks from Caravaggio, Cezanne, Picasso and more. Hint: Industrious Scouts might want to grab a blue card and a counselor and make this a home run. Sign-ups are currently open!

We are asking that all Scout parents and Adult Leaders join us for our Troop 2026 Kickoff Meeting. We will review the Troop plans for 2026 and provide an overview to important program and policy updates. Please make every effort to have at least one parent from each family attend this meeting. We are looking forward to a great 2026!

Additional merit badge counselors are needed for our Troop. We have Scouts who are interested in a wide variety of topics and we are encouraging all adults in our Troop to share your talents by registering to become Merit Badge counselors today! Just fill out the MB Counselor Info form and complete a BSA Adult Application (position code 42) All counselors must be a registered adults with current YPT. 

The PLC has again elected to attend Summer Camp at Bartle Scout Reservation this summer in early June. We are excited to have returning campers as well as new Scouts joining us this year. The signup is open, and the only way to guarantee your spot is with a paid deposit of $75 (nonrefundable). Remaining spots are available on a first come first serve basis. All inquiries should be directed to the committee chair.
